Our creative services division was contracted by the TD Ameritrade Network to launch a futures trading based program for their financial OTT network based in Chicago. Broadcast Management Group’s creative team developed “Futures”, a live, 1-hour program dedicated to futures market movement, education, and trading. Host Ben Lichtenstein, former President of Traders Audio, breaks down the top traded futures products and commodities, covers breaking economic data, and gives his chart of the day that futures traders need to watch.
In addition to breaking down price levels and market movement for the top traded futures products, our creative team incorporated a key vertical of TD Ameritrade: education and trade examples. Stephanie Lewicky, Senior Manager of Futures and Forex at TD Ameritrade, brings her market expertise to help Ben dissect everything that you need to know about the futures market. Later in the show, Kevin Hincks, co-host of “Fast Market” on the TD Ameritrade Network, places a futures example trade on the thinkorswim platform, tying together breaking news and expert analysis directly into the viewer’s portfolio.
Broadcast Management Group leveraged the technology available within TD Ameritrade to bring the show format to life. Since the host relies heavily on charts on the thinkorswim platform, it was essential for our creative team to incorporate a way for the host and contributors to control their platform live on air. BMG also leveraged TD Ameritrade’s relationship with the CME Group, a futures exchange with a location in Chicago.
Using LiveU technology, we are able to send back a camera feed from the exchange for a high quality, daily hit straight from a local futures exchange. From a production standpoint, the show has a single producer, a director/TD, tape and graphics operators, camera/steadi operators, A1 and prompter operator.
