Project Overview

BMG developed a compelling 90-minute run of show which included social media and celebrity talent such as YouTube stars the Merrell Twins, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, influencer Tabitha Swatosh, Donna Kelce, mother of the NFL’s Kelce brothers, Saturday Night Live star Heidi Gardner as well as the DJ/producer headlining duo, Two Friends, whose bass dropping performance pumped the packed crowd.

Viewers unable to attend the tailgate in Kansas City could view the entire show at ChiefsLive.com, a custom-branded microsite powered by Little Cinema that provides various interactive and engagement tools to enhance the digital experience.

Utilizing BMG’s RMU 2 mobile unit, the production was shot with 12 cameras, a combination of Grass Valley LDX 86 WorldCam broadcast cameras, including a 25’ jib, Steadicam, and wireless handheld, in addition to multiple PTZs to ensure there was enough coverage of the crowd and two separate stages within the tailgate compound.

Result

  • Over 2.5 million Video Impressions
  • Over 75,000 Concurrent Viewers
  • 31x More Virtual Viewers than Capacity Allowed at Tailgate
