Our creative services division was engaged by the TD Ameritrade Network to develop and launch an options trading program for their financial OTT network. Broadcast Management Group’s creative team developed “Fast Market”, a live, 1-hour program dedicated to options trading strategy and management. Hosted by traders Kevin Hincks and Alex Coffey, “Fast Market” takes the news of the day and shows clients and viewers how to potentially make profits with example trades.
“Fast Market” begins with an overall market discussion, bringing in a guest veteran trader for their take on the latest market movement. After kicking off the show with an options trader, the Likefolio data experts are tapped for their social sentiment market info. Hosts Kevin and Alex factor the Likefolio social sentiment into their final options trade to close out the program.
“Fast Market” was the first trading focused show to launch on the TD Ameritrade Network. Our creative services team developed a format that highlights the options trading platform on the thinkorswim software, focusing on the most important, pertinent trading statistics. The daily live hit on social sentiment brings in outside expertise at no cost, while the veteran in-house traders give their perspective.
After finalizing the show format, Broadcast Management Group gave this show a unique look unlike any other on the network. The overarching theme of “Fast Market” is for the show to be a group of veteran traders, sitting in a room, talking trading at a roundtable. This was accomplished through both the blocking of the show and the overall format. “Fast Market” is the centerpiece trading show on the TD Ameritrade Network. From a production standpoint, the show has a single producer, director/TD, tape and graphics operators, camera/steadi operators, A1 and prompter operator.
