Production Manager

Job Summary:

Broadcast Management Group is looking to expand its team by adding a Project Manager to support the company’s live production and consulting projects. Primary functions include project management support for live production and consulting projects, conducting market research, performing administrative and HR functions, and assisting with internal marketing efforts. The position will also provide admin support to the CEO and EVP. This role requires innovative thinking, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude. Our ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented, innovative self-starter with a great work ethic, ability to take initiative and work flexible hours when needed (including nights and weekends for production projects). Must have a deep understanding of how to use analytics to determine the best method and time to reach our target audience, advise our clients on how to leverage social media to further drive audience engagement and provide regular reports that show the progress and impact of overall engagement.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Project management duties, including compiling crew paperwork, booking travel, building production books and researching vendors
  • Admin support for the CEO and EVP
  • Create, schedule and distribute blog posts, marketing emails, social media content and articles
  • Schedule weekly social media content and maintain the company’s annual content calendar
  • Post and maintain photo and video galleries, ensuring that all images are properly tagged
  • Distribute onboarding documents for new hires, assist with benefits administration and job postings
  • Invoicing clients, entering accounts payable, completing credit applications for new suppliers
  • Develop client proposals and presentations
  • Perform industry research
  • Lead the development of company-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media
  • Continually update and optimize online content to maximize paid conversions and natural/organic search engine rankings
  • Compile regular reports outlining social media metrics, engagement metrics and paid advertising performance
  • Brainstorm marketing strategies with executive management

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to effectively manage multiple projects and ability to take initiative
  • Attention to detail, strong follow-through and the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong social media marketing knowledge and experience
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Passion for video production and live events
  • Passion for marketing
  • Ability to travel when needed
