Services Provided

BET and Arise News contracted BMG to provide video production services for their live event coverage of the George Zimmerman trial verdict in Sanford, Florida. The coverage was part of a joint live simulcast between BET and Arise News, entitled “Not Guilty: Zimmerman Trial Verdict”. The one-hour live production was produced from a studio facility in Washington, DC with both in-studio guests and remote guests from around the country. BMG had less than twelve hours to provide full turn-key video production services for the live broadcast.

This extremely small window was made even more challenging by the fact that all major news outlets were providing coverage from Sanford and many resources were already booked. BMG was able to secure all the necessary video production resources to cover the client’s needs, including booking multiple satellite trucks, studio facilities, video production crews and transmission paths.
