Services Provided

Due to BMG’s extensive experience with live production and video streaming, the company was contracted by Amazon to produce 3, 30-minute episodes of their “IMDb Asks” series live from the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The project was Amazon’s first ever live remote program. “IMDb Asks” featured live 1-on-1 and 1-on-2 interviews with actors and celebrities who were attending Sundance to promote upcoming film projects. The remote studio location was built out at a sushi restaurant in Park City.

Each episode was shot and switched live in Park City and transmitted to Amazon’s control room in New York where the show was directed and graphics and roll-in packages were added. BMG built the remote studio location at Sundance and managed all technical aspects of the live program. BMG provided the switcher, comms, audio, primary and back-up transmissions and multi-view monitoring, seamlessly integrating the 4 camera remote location with the Amazon’s control room in New York.
