Before graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Film from the University of Tampa, Taylor was involved in the Film and TV Industry. In 2014 she became a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Although her love for the industry began in front of the camera, she decided the technical route and specialized in editing while in college. Following graduation, she worked on feature films and other productions in both the South East market and Los Angeles, in addition to working as a freelance photographer, videographer and editor. In 2015 while working for a Florida-based production company, she was involved in a social campaign that led to an invitation from Netflix to pitch original content at their office in Los Angeles. During her time at this production company, Taylor also produced and edited content for social distribution that was featured on Buzzfeed, Mic, Elite Daily and more.
Taylor moved to Chicago in 2017 to expand her knowledge in post-production, joining Broadcast Management Group’s internship program. Taylor was then offered a fulltime position as a production assistant working in the studio, learning, live production, stage management, A-2, prompter, and supported the talent department. Taylor was then prompted to a junior editor position where she works with the editorial team editing content for COD supporting BMG, s client the TD Ameritrade Network.
