Stefani completed her undergraduate degree at Columbia College Chicago where she studied Cinematography.
Columbia’s thriving and creative culture allowed her to totally emerge herself in her program. In the program she worked on professional film sets as a first camera assistant, grip and lighting technician, and cinematographer. Also gaining experience in post-production such as color correcting, editing and continuity in film.
Her love for still photography led her down the path of pursuing photography post-graduation where her work was showcased in Spanglish Restaurant – a Chicago based Mexican cantina. She also participated in Chicago’s multicultural neighborhood: Pilsen’s 2nd Friday of the month. (A mile stretch of galleries opening their doors to the public to sell and showcase work). Her love for the arts allowed for her to work alongside some talented local artists.
She later was asked to assist with a Chicago based startup company Fautus where she helped with building recognition of the app while utilizing photography and marketing skills. She then worked as an executive assistant to the CEO at a an experiential marketing agency where she was able to gain more experience in a corporate setting. She enjoys volunteering at festivals such as The Chicago International Film Festival and rollerblading by the lake in the Summer.”
