Quentin Acquired his knowledge of audiovisual engineering in his home country of France. He worked for the European Television Production Industry Leader, AMP Visual TV operating control rooms, live production trucks and flight packs on four continents.
Quentin’s work has taken him all over the globe, from Morocco to Russia. Some of his favorite jobs included working on major sporting events, including Olympic competitions, the UEFA Champions League, the World Judo Championships, the World Aquatics Championships, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. He has also enjoyed working at well-known live concerts (Iggy Pop, Sean Paul, Metallica, French National Orchestra), conferences (COP 21 Paris Climate Conference, French elections, United States Congress of Mayors), French television shows (Top Chef, The Price is Right, NRJ Music Awards, and Eurovision), and theatre events.
Before joining BMG, Quentin worked for many years as a live filming Broadcast Engineer. He began his career at AMP Visual TV where he reviewed inventory, loaded production trucks, and set up cameras in the field. Today, Quentin specializes in flight pack engineering and configuring production trucks.
Quentin moved to the United States in pursuit of his wife in 2017, but is always determined to add a “French touch” to his work.
At Broadcast Management Group, Quentin works as a production engineer building and maintaining BMG’s equipment inventory, building flight packs for BMG production projects, serving as Engineer in Charge on location for BMG’s live productions, both on production trucks and flight packs. He is involved in all aspect of pre-engineering BMG projects and serves as the lead project engineering for BMG’s Facility build out projects for its clients.
He holds his degree in Audio Visual Technology from the Léonard de Vinci school in Montaigu, France. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, hiking, exploring nature, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
