Naz Stobe-Kirst is a key member of Broadcast Management Group’s engineering, design, and installation team. Naz has years of broadcast production experience as an operator, as well as an extensive engineering design and installation background.
Naz is a first-generation immigrant from Germany who came to the U.S. at 18. After studying media in college, she made the career choice to work in the broadcasting industry.
Naz worked at Global Video to service and build broadcast facilities, network centers, flight packs, OB Vans and 4K UltraHD production trucks for Harris Automation, Akamai Streaming Network, PBS, F-Secure, NASA, Department of Defense and more.
At Sony Electronics, Naz’s drafting skills were honed to be able to produce broadcast-specific technical documentation packages, from floor plans and elevations to complex signal flow drawings. The time at Sony’s CAD department brought valuable insight to how successful facilities are engineered, and when Naz got advanced to installation supervisor at Sony Systems’ Integration Division (SID) it proved invaluable. Naz traveled with various installation teams to effort large build-out projects for DirecTV, the new Guggenheim in New York City and a SkyB in Gilbert, Arizona.
At Broadcast Management Group, Naz works on a variety of projects from live productions to BMG’s numerous facility design and installation projects.
