Eric Boyer’s broadcast career has taken him around the globe from London to Mexico City to Abu Dhabi and Budapest.
Eric joined Broadcast Management Group after working more than 20 years for NBC, Lincoln Center, ABC News and ESPN. He started with BMG as a contractor for its Systems Integration Division. He traveled to various client locations in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Las Vegas. His excellent people and technical skills make him a perfect fit for the BMG team.
Eric attended Southern Illinois University. His first job after college was at WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland doing audio and editing for news and baseball. He has also freelanced at NBC News in Washington, D.C. Eric worked as a senior editor box/Henry Artist and Avid Media Composure editor in the Washington, D.C. He then joined a post-production facility in Austin, Texas. Over the years, Eric has designed and built several production and post-production facilities. He is also an expert at robotic cameras and spider camera work for many live shows including Martha, Iron Chef America, ABC News, Live from Lincoln Center and ESPN.
At Broadcast Management Group, Eric splits his time between building new broadcast facilities for clients and supporting BMG’s Live Production Division as an engineer in charge, robo-camera, and spider camera operator.
