Dan Singh is an international media executive with television, film and event project experience in some 25 countries.
Educated at Harvard University and the London School of Journalism, Dan started off in network news as a producer and anchor and became one of the youngest directors ever at Sweden’s largest network. Over the years, he worked for national broadcasters in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America—such as BBC and Sky (Britain), ZDF (Germany), NHK (Japan) and NBC (USA). His assignments ranged from news and documentary productions to large sports events.
Testifying to his international credentials, Dan speaks three languages fluently (English, Swedish, Finnish), is able to communicate in two additional languages (Norwegian, Danish) and has a basic working knowledge of a couple more (Spanish, Arabic).
Dan’s experience not only crosses geographic borders but also the content/production barrier—over the past decade, he’s held executive positions in both areas. On the content side, he managed scripted and unscripted TV projects with up to 25 million viewers, produced by production teams spread out across the globe. He also oversaw large studio operations, enhancing production turnarounds and key workflow initiatives. These credentials build on his previous production management work in most of the major Hollywood studios.
While television is his bread and butter, large stadium events have a special place in Dan’s heart. He has worked with some of showbiz’ biggest names and run productions in some of the most iconic venues in the world, such as Madison Square Garden in New York and Royal Albert Hall in England. Never afraid to take on a challenge, for an event at Friends Arena in Sweden, he built one of the most complex audio setups ever in that part of Europe and ended up setting an audience record.
