State-of-the-Art Broadcast Studios Coming to Washington, DC

BMG’s Phase 3 expansion delivers full-scale, multicamera broadcast facilities in the 8th largest U.S. media market, and the center of Global News, Politics, Sports, and Technology, designed to meet the needs of networks, sports leagues, media companies, corporations, and brands nationwide.

Washington, DC Finally Gets the Studio It Deserves

For years, Washington, DC has lacked large-scale, purpose-built broadcast studio infrastructure. With the closure of Atlantic Video and The Newseum studios, the nation’s capital—home to newsmakers, policy leaders, and major global brands—has been underserved.

Broadcast Management Group is changing that.

We’re building two fully outfitted broadcast studios, plus a live shot insert studio, in Upper Northwest DC—just minutes from Capitol Hill, the White House, and all three major DC-area airports. These studios are not converted soundstages; they’re engineered specifically for daily, high-caliber, multi-camera live productions.

Why These Studios Are Different

Designed for Live, Daily Broadcasts

  • Engineered from the ground up for live, multi-camera shows—supporting talk shows, political commentary, sports wraps, branded content, and more.

A Prime Capitol Location

  • Located inside the 495 Beltway with quick access to DCA, IAD, BWI, and top hotels, minutes to the United States Capital and the White House—ideal for VIP guests, talent, and live hits.

Studio Workflow, Not Just Soundstages

  • Perfect for recurring formats: daily talk shows, weekly political panels, corporate livestreams, and fan-driven entertainment events.

Backed by Industry-Leading Infrastructure

  • Studios are directly connected to BMG’s Cloud Control Center™, with access to master control, multiple control rooms, Grass Valley switching, Ross XPression graphics, Evertz routing, and complete transmission capabilities.

Audience-Ready & Talent-Friendly

  • Accommodates up to a 150-person live studio audience and includes green rooms, dressing rooms, and private entrances, production offices, and client-ready workspaces. On-site parking is available for guests, talent, and crew.
