Broadcast Management Group recently provided system integration services for Washington, DC-based newspaper and website, Roll Call. The political publication was looking for technical support for an upgrade to their podcasting studio at their offices in downtown DC.
The first step was to meet with the key stakeholders and tour the facility in order to gain a better understanding of their needs and technical requirements. Most of the podcasting equipment was already in place, but missing some technical components. Our system integration team documented all of the components in the studio and determined what equipment was needed in order to get the facility working properly. Once the equipment arrived, our engineering team installed and testing all technical equipment and provided training to the Roll Call staff. It was important to keep the facility streamlined and user friendly as many of the full-time staff do not have a technical background.
